In the middle of the night, two people who flew drones to a high-rise apartment building in Busan to secretly film sex scenes were sentenced to prison sentences and fines respectively.
On the 2nd, the four exclusive criminals (Deputy Judge Lee Deok-hwan) of the Dongbu Branch of the Busan District Law announced on the 2nd that he sentenced A, 42, who was handed over to trial for violating the Act on Special Cases for Sexual Violence Punishment.
Accomplice B, 30, who participated in the crime together was fined 10 million won.
Mr. A was arrested on charges of illegally photographing residents for about three hours by flying a drone in a high-rise apartment in Suyeong-gu, Busan from midnight last September.
Mr. B was charged with conspiracy to commit the crime, such as adjusting the location of the drone while watching a smartphone where drone images are transmitted in real time.
The two were reported to have photographed two pairs of men and women who are having sex or being in contact with two times.
At the time, the drone crashed into the apartment, and the crime was discovered by the police who were dispatched after receiving a report from the residents.
Judge Lee said, “In a situation where the use of drones is becoming more common, these crimes can cause serious social problems, such as making people feel uneasy about their daily lives and feeling a lot of shame and anxiety about the outflow of videos. This is big,” he explained.
Next, “A’s purchase and manipulation of drones and the fact that he led the filming seems to have been prepared in advance,” he said. “If you combine various circumstances, it is inevitable that a sentence corresponding to the guilt is inevitable.”
