A delivery driver who took a child who had crashed on the 12th floor of an apartment in Hanoi, Vietnam with his bare hands, has become a’national hero’ locally.

According to local media in Vietnam, on the 28th of last month, Nguyen Ngoc Man, 31, sat in a car for a delivery and heard the cry of a child.

He looked out of the window, and what caught his eye was the image of a child hanging from the veranda on the 12th floor of the apartment. In an urgent situation, the residents of the building opposite were also screaming with their feet rolling.

He got out of the car and ran under the building where the child was hanging. The child, whose arm was weak, eventually fell down. But only right before he crashed to the ground, he picked up the child.

He told the local media, “Thank you for having the child fell to my lap and I was able to pick it up.”

The heroic behavior of the delivery driver quickly spread through social media. There are also visuals depicting him as Superman on Facebook.
