Parents in their twenties who killed a two-week-old boy were caught by the police.

The Jeonbuk Police Agency announced on the 11th that it has applied for an arrest warrant for Mr. A (in 20s) and his wife (in 20s) on charges of child abuse and fatality.

Mr. A and others are accused of assaulting and killing the two-week-old Army B at an officetel in Iksan at 11:57 pm on the 9th.

According to the police, Mr. A and others reported to 119 when the child did not breathe due to the assault.

It is known that the couple falsely stated to the 119 paramedics dispatched that “the child fell to the floor while sleeping in bed.”

The police found bruises on the face of Army B, and after questioning the couple, they discovered that they were abused.

In a police investigation, Mr. A and Mrs. A are known to have partially admitted the charges, saying, “The child ate powdered milk and vomited and beat him.

The police requested an autopsy from the National Institute of Scientific Investigation to reveal the exact cause of the death of Army B.

A police official said, “We believe that the physical abuse of Mr. A’s couple against Army B has occurred in the past,” he said. “It is a matter under investigation, so I cannot tell you details.”
