The South China Morning Post (SCMP) of Hong Kong reported on the 26th that a Chinese real estate developer, who was engaged in promotional activities by drawing apartment floor plans on the back of a woman in Van La, was withdrawn from the suspension of real estate development.

At an apartment briefing session last week in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, a real estate developer mobilized two female models. The apartment floor plan was drawn on the model’s back.

Those who attended the briefing took photos of their backs as well as commemorative photos with them.

This fact became widely known when a netizen who attended the event posted a video on Weibo, a Twitter in China.

Chinese netizens who watched this video are strongly protesting, posting comments such as “Is it cheaper than paper?”

As the ripples grew, the Shanxi provincial authorities said, “The commercialization of women is excessive,” and not only prevented the event from holding any more, but also stopped the development project, SCMP said.
