An American man accused of murdering a resident who sexually abused him as a child suddenly confessed to an additional crime during the investigation. In addition to the case currently prosecuted, it is claimed that 15 more people, including his ex-wife, were killed.

According to the British Daily Guardian on the 20th (local time), the prosecution said this at the detention hearing of Sean Lannan, 47, held at a court in New Jersey, USA on the 19th.

Previously, Lannan was put on trial for breaking into the home of Michael Davkoski, 66, a resident of New Jersey and killing him.

Lannan alleges that Davkouski had sexually abused him in the past, and that he went to his house to find pictures of this situation and killed him after a struggle.

According to prosecutors, Lannan also claimed to have killed 15 other people in New Mexico. In a recent phone call with a family member, he admitted and said regrets, the prosecution explained.

Lannan’s confession came amid suspicion that he was a related person after a vehicle containing four bodies was recently found at Albuquerque International Airport, New Mexico. The bodies of Lannan’s ex-wife and New Mexico residents were found in the vehicle.

The prosecution said, “Lannan admitted that he killed 15 people in New Mexico and 1 in New Jersey, killing a total of 16 people,” said the prosecution.

On the other hand, at the hearing on the day, Lannan argued that he did not invade Davkouski’s house but entered it with permission, and that Davkouski attacked first on the day, and asserted self-defense. The court, however, accepted the prosecution’s claim that Lannan was a serious danger to the community and detained him.
