The boy’s coffin was covered with a character T-shirt that he normally liked.

Jo Myo Ted, 15, who worked at a teahouse in downtown Mandalay, was shot by a military policeman around midnight.

At least 20 children and adolescents under the age of 18 have been killed by military and police bullets so far.

Nevertheless, the military held all responsibility for the bloodshed on the protesters.

While protesters are expected to rise this weekend on Myanmar Army Day, silent protests were held across Myanmar to halt all economic activities.

Myanmar’s military has released more than 600 protesters and journalists who were in custody as if they were trying to disrupt silent protests.
