The worst serial killer in the United States, who killed more than 90 people, died while serving at the age of 80.
According to American media such as Fox News, the California Correctional Service said that Samuel Little, who was sentenced to life in prison for serial murder and serving in prison, died in a hospital in California on the morning of the 30th (local time). The coroner is expected to investigate the exact cause of death, but it is presumed that he died due to the old age.
Little confessed to killing 93 people from 1970 to 2005, but so far about 50 have been confirmed. Little, who was imprisoned in 2014 for drug crimes and incarcerated in a Texas state prison, confessed in November 2018 that he had committed 90 murders.
Since then, he has been sentenced to life imprisonment without parole three times and has served in California prison. Little, who suffered from heart disease and diabetes, is known to have belatedly confessed to his past crimes, hoping to transfer to another prison.
He was a boxer with a height of 190 cm. He suppressed the victim with bare hands and killed him without using guns or weapons. Many of the victims were not even reported missing.
The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) released a video of Little’s statement last year and portraits of victims who confessed to killing him. Most of the victims in Little’s portrait were black women.
