9.30% of the increase rate of the declared land price, the tax burden increases

On the 23rd, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has 520,000 national standard lands as of January 1st next year. According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Korea Real Estate Agency, the standard land in Gangwon Province will be conducted from the 24th to January 12th of next year. The rate of increase in publicly announced land prices of 33,589 sites for next year was 9.30%, up 4.91%p from this year (4.39%), the highest level in 15 years since the increase rate of 9.60% in 2006.

The increase in publicly announced land prices affects the prices of houses, shopping malls and buildings on the ground. In particular, when the publicly announced land price of a commercial site increases significantly, and the tax burden such as property tax increases, the lessor who owns the real estate can pass the burden to the tenant by raising the rent, which is the pain of small business owners who are difficult with Corona 19.
