80 confirmed cases related to Jinju bath’explosion’… Most in Gyeongnam since the pandemic

Among 50 corona19 confirmed cases in Gyeongnam on the morning of the 12th, 47 were added in the afternoon. The 97 confirmed cases a day in Tokyo are the largest since the corona 19 incident. The quarantine authorities are very nervous about the spread of another group infection.
Gyeongnam Province announced that 97 new confirmed cases (2208-2304, Gyeongnam 2208-2304) occurred after 5 p.m. the previous day through a briefing on the Corona 19 outbreak and response at 1:30 p.m. the day before.
These were 80 people related to Jinju bathhouse, 6 people related to Jinju-Sacheon family gatherings, 7 people in metropolitan area, 1 person in metropolitan area, 1 person in other regions, and 2 people in route investigation. By region, there are 85 people in Jinju, 5 people in Namhae, 3 people in Changwon, and 1 person each in Sacheon, Miryang, Gimhae, and Geoje.
Of the 85 confirmed patients in Jinju (2211~2250, 2259~2303), 80 in total, including 79 confirmed patients in Jinju and one confirmed in Changwon, were confirmed related to the Jinju bathhouse.
As a result, the cumulative number of confirmed patients related to Jinju Bathhouse was counted as 92. After the first confirmation of the bathhouse related to Gyeongnam 2181, 8 additional members of the family and acquaintances were confirmed. Jinju city quarantine authorities confirmed that three of them (2186, 2197, 2198, Gyeongnam) visited the’Paros Health Sauna’ and conducted a contact inspection.
To date, all 328 people have been tested in relation to the above. As a result of the test, 92 positive and 133 negative were found, including the first confirmed person. The remaining 104 people are being tested.
The remaining five confirmed patients in Jinju (No. 2223-2247, Gyeongnam, No. 2302) and one confirmed case in Sacheon (No. 2251, Gyeongnam) were confirmed cases related to the Jinju-Sacheon family gathering.
As a result, there were 14 cumulative confirmed cases related to Jinju-Sacheon family gatherings.
To date, all 240 people have been tested. As a result of the test, 14 positive and 213 negative were found. The remaining 13 are undergoing tests.
The five South Sea confirmed patients (Gyeongnam No. 2252-2256) were contacts with Gyeongnam No. 2208. Of the remaining two confirmed patients in Changwon (2210, Gyeongnam, 2258), 2210 was a contact with a confirmed patient in the province and was tested positive during quarantine. No. 2258 had symptoms and was tested and positive. The route of infection is under investigation. Gimhae confirmed case Gyeongnam No. 2209 and Geoje confirmed case Gyeongnam No. 2257 are the contacts of the existing confirmed cases.
Miryang confirmed 2208 was tested positive for hospital admission. The route of infection is under investigation.
As of this day, the cumulative corona19 confirmed in Gyeongnam Province has increased to 2301. Among them, 163 confirmed patients were hospitalized and undergoing treatment, and the remaining 2,126 were discharged from the hospital. The death toll is 12.
