750 billion won for Messi? 11 Best Made With That Money

Lionel Messi, 34, signed a contract with Barcelona (Spain) three years ago, causing controversy.

Spain’s El Mundo recently reported that Barcelona signed a contract with Messi in 2017 to pay a total of 553,27 619 euros (751.5 billion won) for four years until June this year, when the contract expires.

This is the largest amount ever in professional sports in the world. As Barcelona faced a financial crisis in the aftermath of the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19), as the astronomical amount Messi received was revealed, many local media pointed out that “a huge contract with Messi ruined Barcelona.”

Spanish media’Marca’ also participated. After the Messi contract was released, the media released’Best 11′, which consists of players that can be recruited with the wages paid to Messi. Players who transferred from the 2017-18 season to the 2020-21 season were candidates. The formation is 3-4-3.

The four-man midfielder line is also gorgeous. Rodri (Man City) is the first runner. He transferred from Atletico Madrid (Spain) to Man City in 2019, with a transfer fee of 63 million euros (85.3 billion won).

Two Manchester United (England and Manchester United) midfielders were named. They are Donny Van der Vic, who transferred from Ajax (Netherlands) to United in 2020, and Bruno Fernandes, who changed to United uniforms from Sporting (Portugal). The two recorded transfer fees of 39 million euros (52.8 billion won) and 55 million euros (74.5 billion won), respectively.

The last midfielder is Kai Haberts, who was ambitiously signed by Chelsea (England). In 2020, Chelsea paid a huge sum of 80 million euros (1084 billion won) to Leverkusen (Germany) to sign him.

The three-top is also powerful. Joao Felix, who incurred a whopping 120 million euros (162.5 billion won) in transfer fees from Benfica (Portugal) to Atletico Madrid in 2019, is the first protagonist. The second is Ferran Torres, who moved from Valencia (Spain) to Man City in 2020. His transfer fee was 23 million euros (312 billion won).

The last runner is Elling Holland, one of the hottest strikers in the world football world. Before the true value of Holland was revealed in 2020, Salzburg (Austria) gave Holland to Dortmund (Germany) for 20 million euros (271 billion won).

“Marca” sarcastically said, “Barcelona missed this lineup because it was pouring this huge amount of money into Messi.”
