In addition, the ban on private gatherings of five or more people has also been extended across the country beyond the metropolitan area. Looking at the route of infection of the new confirmed patients on this day, 641 local outbreaks and 16 foreign inflows. The number of confirmed cases of regional outbreaks was 147 fewer than the previous day (788).

In the area where confirmed cases were found, there were 444 in Seoul, including 195 in Seoul, 201 in Gyeonggi, and 48 in Incheon.
