This is an increase of 13 people from 634 at the same time the day before. In particular, if additional confirmed cases are added during the night, the final number of new confirmed cases to be announced as of 0:00 am on the 7th is expected to be in the final 800-900 range.
According to each local government on the 3rd, the number of new confirmed cases counted from 0 a.m. to 6 p.m. on that day was 262 in Gyeonggi, 193 in Seoul, 37 in Incheon, 25 in Gyeongbuk, 24 in Gangwon, 21 in Gwangju, 19 in Busan, There were 17 in Gyeongnam, 16 in Chungnam, 9 in Chungbuk, 8 in Daegu, 7 in Ulsan, 3 in Daejeon and Sejong, 2 in Jeonbuk, and 1 in Jeju. There were no confirmed cases in Jeonnam.

There were 24 confirmed cases a day in Gangwon-do. In Sokcho, three prisoners of Gangwon Bukbu Prison were confirmed. They were identified as prisoners who were transferred from the Eastern Detention Center to the Gangwon North Prison. Even at Yeongwol prison, seven prisoners were confirmed. They were also inmates from Dongbu Detention Center to Yeongwol Prison on the 3rd.
In Chungcheongbuk-do, there were several confirmed cases of churches linking the BTJ World Center in Sangju, Gyeongju. The number of new confirmed patients was 2 each in Cheongju, Chungju, and Goesan, and 1 in Jincheon, a total of 7 (1325 to 1331, Chungbuk). There were 11 confirmed cases in Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do. Except for one in their 70s (#731) whose path of infection was not confirmed among the confirmed patients, all 10 were infected after contacting the existing confirmed person. Among them, one in their 30s (No. 741) is the nth infected person related to foreign group infection. The cumulative number of confirmed cases related to this increased to 120.
In Gyeongbuk, where 25 new cases were found, 12 confirmed cases were found in Gumi alone. Eight out of 12 were confirmed to be related to a nursing school in Gumi, and the remaining three were identified as local infections.
In Daegu, 22 people were confirmed, including 21 local infections and 1 foreign inflow. In the case of Seongdeok Church, one of the self-isolations was confirmed as having symptoms, and at Gwangjin Central Church, two people were tested before self-isolation was lifted, and one contact person was positive.
In Gyeongnam as well, 17 additional infections occurred a day. By region, there were 8 Jinju, 4 Changwon, 2 Gimhae and Yangsan respectively, and 1 Hadong. In Jinju, where the number of new confirmed cases is the most, six are contacts with existing confirmed families. Of these, three are elementary school students, and the quarantine authorities are conducting tests on 80 students, including teachers and students of a parent elementary school in Jinju, and 50 students, including teachers and students from other elementary schools.
There were 21 additional confirmed cases in Gwangju. Among them, Gwangju 1272~1274 and 1276~1278 confirmed cases were confirmed by the Cheongsa Church-related prosecutors before release. All confirmed cases of Gwangju 1265, 1266, 1267, 1268, 1270, and 1275 were identified as the nth infection of the confirmed cases of unknown infection routes. Among them, 1267 confirmed cases developed symptoms during self-isolation, and 1275 confirmed cases were confirmed at the examination before self-isolation release.
Each local government and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are concentrating on identifying the traffic paths and contacts of confirmed patients through epidemiological investigations.
