606 new confirmed by 9 pm 600 people climbed in 48 days

The number of new confirmed cases of the new coronavirus (Corona 19) in Korea reached 600 in 48 days.

According to the quarantine authorities on the 6th and local governments such as the Seoul Metropolitan Government, a total of 606 new confirmed cases were tested positive for Corona 19 across the country from 0 o’clock to 9 o’clock on that day. 176 more than the 430 counted at the same time the day before.

In the area where confirmed cases were found, 405 (66.8%) in the metropolitan area and 201 (33.2%) in the non-metropolitan area. There were confirmed cases in all 17 provinces nationwide.

As there is still time until midnight when the count is closed, the number of new confirmed cases to be announced as of 0 o’clock on the 7th is expected to increase further, reaching around 700 in the second half of the 600 group.

It was only 48 days after 621 on February 18 that the number of confirmed cases exceeded 600. The previous day, after 9 pm, the number of people increased by 48, and the final was 478.

Recently, there were around 500 new confirmed cases in Korea. One day, the number of confirmed cases has been stagnant, moving up and down in the 300-400 range for a while, but the number of confirmed cases has increased as cases of group infection have emerged nationwide.

From the 31st of last month to this day, the number of new confirmed cases that occurred in the last week was 506 → 551 → 557 → 543 → 543 → 473 → 478 people daily, an average of 521.6 people per day.

Among them, the number of confirmed cases of local outbreaks on average daily, which is a key indicator of the adjustment of the’social distancing’ stage, was counted as 500.6, exceeding the upper line of the 2.5 stage (400-500 or more nationwide, etc.). It was only 80 days after 516.1 people as of January 16 this year that this number exceeded 500.
