On the 10th in Japan, 6,000 new coronavirus infections (Corona 19) were confirmed.

According to the local public broadcaster NHK’s statistics, as of 8 pm on the day, 6,76 new corona19 infections have been reported across Japan.

Japan’s Corona 19 confirmed one day fell to 6,000 on that day after recording 7,000 for three consecutive days on the 7th to 9th, but recorded the highest as of Sunday.

The cumulative confirmed cases of Corona 19 in Japan increased to 289,000.

The number of Corona 19 deaths increased by 39 to 4,74. The number of severely ill patients increased by 25 to 852, the largest number since the Corona 19 crisis.

The number of new confirmed cases by region on that day was 1,494 in Tokyo, 729 in Kanagawa, 532 in Osaka, and 414 in Saitama.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare of Japan announced on the 2nd that it was revealed that four men and women who entered Japan through Haneda Airport were infected with Corona 19, a mutation different from those found in Britain or South Africa.

Those who arrived from Brazil were tested positive for Corona 19 in airport quarantine, and as a result of genetic analysis of their samples by the National Infectious Disease Research Institute, they were identified as new mutant viruses.

There are mutations in common with mutant viruses found in the UK and South Africa so far, but it is considered to be a different virus and the National Institute of Infectious Diseases is investigating its spread.

NHK said this is the first time this new type of mutant virus has been identified in Japan.
