Six nursery teachers in their 20s and 30s who were accused of abuse of 10 children at daycare centers, including children with disabilities, were arrested by the police.

The Incheon Western Police Department announced on the 19th that it had charged six daycare teachers, including Mr. A, for violating the Act on Special Cases concerning the Punishment of Child Abuse Crimes.

Mr. A and others are accused of abusing 10 students aged 1-6 years old, including B(5), with autism at a public daycare center in Seo-gu, Incheon from November to December of last year.

Of the 19 children at the daycare center, 10 were found to have suffered from abuse, and 5 of them were found to suffer from autism and other disabilities.

A police official said, “The analysis of closed circuit (CC) TV was completed, and CCTV images were sent to a child protection agency to determine whether they were abused.” He added, “I called my parents and completed the investigation,” he added, “I will thoroughly investigate the issue of child abuse without any doubt.”

Through CCTV footage of the daycare center secured by the police, it was confirmed that the nursery teachers sprayed water with a sprayer on Army B, pushed or beaten with their hands and feet. It has been found that there are scenes such as hitting the face of another indigenous student with a hand or grabbing his head.

When the mother of Army B reported that her son had been abused on the 28th of last month, the police analyzed the CCTV video of the daycare center for the last two months to further confirm the abuse situation.

Earlier, the mother of Group B filed a national petition on the Blue House National Petition bulletin board calling for a strong punishment for the childcare teachers.

Group B’s mother said, “Due to the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19), we continued family education for one month in December, and on December 23, we were brought to the hospital with a Santa feast.”

He added, “After that, the child went to the House of Representatives with a wound on his ear.”

He said, “There are cases where I came home with some face and ear injuries, so I went to the daycare center and looked at the CCTV. I confirmed the appearance.”

“The teachers are giving false testimony that’I can’t remember’ or’I’m not abused’ without apologizing for being sorry. “I wrote.
