As 5G service commercialization has been more than a year and a half, service coverage and quality are improving, but consumer complaints remain.
As a result of a government survey, it was confirmed that only about 60% of the nationwide multi-use facilities can use 5G, and even the LTE speed has fallen.
SK Telecom for 5G communication speed, LG U+ for service coverage, and KT for multi-use facility network construction were the best.
On the 30th, the Ministry of Science, ICT and ICT released the results of the 2020 telecommunication service coverage check and quality evaluation conducted with the Korea Intelligent Information Society Promotion Agency.
Quality evaluation, including 5G, is the second time following the first half survey announced in August of this year, and the subject of the survey was expanded from Seoul and six metropolitan cities to 85 cities nationwide.
