As of 0 o’clock on the 27th, 559 new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19) occurred. With a surge of 210 people from the previous day, the number rose to 500 again in 10 days after 520 on the 17th.
There are 388.7 confirmed cases in Korea per week on average, and if more than 460 confirmed cases occur in Korea on the 28th, it can rise to the average of 400 per week, based on the 2.5 step distance.
It increased by 20.4 from 368.3 the previous day. On December 26, last year, it peaked at 1016.9 and maintained the decline, but there was a possibility of a rebound.
According to the Central Defense Response Headquarters of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on the 27th, the number of corona19 cumulative confirmed cases in Korea as of 0 o’clock on the day increased by 559 to 76429. Among the new confirmed cases, 516 cases occurred in the region and 43 cases were imported from overseas.
The number of new quarantines was 685 and those in quarantine were 9,573, a decrease of 133 from 0 o’clock the previous day.
The number of inspectors who reported suspiciousness was 46,484, and 20,2020 were inspected by temporary screening inspection stations in the metropolitan area. The total number of tests was 68504, down 2542 from 71,046 the previous day. On that day, 52 out of 559 confirmed cases were found at the temporary screening test.
The reporting areas of 559 new confirmed cases (including 43 inflows from overseas) are Seoul 129 (overseas 9), Busan 32 (overseas 1), Daegu 6, Incheon 20 (overseas 3), Gwangju 112 , Daejeon 1, Ulsan 6 (overseas 1), Sejong 4, Gyeonggi 150 (overseas 13), Gangwon 18, Chungbuk 8, Chungnam 4, Jeonbuk 13 (overseas 2), Jeonnam 12 There were 11 people, Gyeongbuk (1 overseas), Gyeongnam 21 (overseas 1), and quarantine 12.

In Seoul, there were 129 new cases, an increase of 25 from the previous day. There were 9 cases of overseas inflow and 120 people from local areas.
The main cases were △related to workplace 3 in Gangnam-gu, △related to a sauna in Dongdaemun-gu, △related to a US military base in Yongsan-gu, and △related to a family in Gangdong-gu. Other group infections, contact with confirmed patients at other attempts, and investigations on the route of infection accounted for the majority.
The number of new confirmed patients in Gyeonggi Province was 150, an increase of 73 from 77 on the previous day. Of these, 13 were confirmed by overseas inflow and 137 were confirmed by local outbreaks.
Major new confirmed cases in Gyeonggi-do include △Anyang City University Hospital △Guri City Childcare Facility △Seoul Gangnam-gu Workplace 3 △Seoul Gangnam-gu Workplace 2 △Guri City Day Care Center 2 △Paju City Manufacturing Industry △Gyeongbuk Sangju BTJ Heating Center △Gimpo City Weekly Protection center related △ Pyeongtaek city manufacturing industry △ Ansan city telecommunications business/family meeting △ Chungbuk Goesan Hospital △ Daejeon IM Mission International School △ Suwon City Family 2 / Liquor company △ Seoul Yongsan-gu US military base related, etc.
In Incheon, there were 20 confirmed cases, an increase of 2 compared to the previous day. There were 3 foreign inflows and 17 local outbreaks. By region, there are 3 people in Bupyeong-gu, 2 in Namdong-gu, 3 in Yeonsu-gu, 2 in Jung-gu, 1 in Seo-gu, and 1 in Michuhol-gu. By infection route, 5 contacts with existing confirmed patients and 5 unknown routes were added.
In Daejeon, one confirmed person was added on this day. This confirmed person was infected by contacting two confirmed cases of Sejong the day before (Sejong No. 188-189). In Sejong, the number of confirmed patients increased by 4 (Sejong No. 190~193). Three of them are investigating the path of infection, and Sejong No. 193 was confirmed as a family member of Sejong No. 173 confirmed during self-isolation.
There are 8 new confirmed cases in Chungbuk (Chungbuk 1521~1528). By region, there are 7 Cheongju and 1 Chungju. The spouse of an employee in their 30s at Hanwha’s Boeun workplace (No. 1515, Chungbuk) and a child under 10 (No. 1522 to 1523, Chungbuk) confirmed the day before, and the mother of an English academy student (No. Chungbuk No. 1524) was also confirmed. Two people (No. 1525~1526, Chungbuk) who were in self-quarantine after contact with Chungbuk 1439, confirmed on the 13th, were also tested positive before quarantine. Co-workers of the 190th confirmed Sejong, 30-year-olds and 50-year-olds (1527-1528, Chungbuk) were also infected with Corona 19. One confirmed patient in Chungju was a foreigner (No. 1521, Chungbuk) and had symptoms and was examined.
There are 4 confirmed cases in Chungnam. By region, there are 2 Gongju, 1 Cheonan and 1 Seocheon. Gongju No. 82 is investigating the path of infection, and Gongju No. 83 is the family of Gongju 81, who was confirmed on the 23rd. One Cheonan confirmed person (Cheonan No. 830) is a contact with a confirmed person whose path of infection has not been confirmed. Seocheon No. 57 was confirmed during self-isolation after contact with the confirmed person.
In Busan, 32 new confirmed cases were added. There were 27 confirmed cases by 6 p.m. the previous day, and 5 more were added thereafter. In the existing group infection, 14 additional patients, including 10 patients and 4 workers, were confirmed at Bugok Nursing Hospital in Geumjeong-gu. The number of confirmed cases increased by 1 at the Cheil Nara Nursing Hospital in Dong-gu, and 3 more were confirmed at 2 business sites in Seo-gu. The number of confirmed cases who are investigating the route of infection also increased by five.
In Gyeongnam, 21 new confirmed cases were added. There were 20 confirmed cases by 6 pm the previous day, and 1 has increased since. In the existing group infection, the number of confirmed cases related to the workplace in Changwon increased by 3, and another confirmed case related to the Geoje care service was added. Other than these, most are confirmed patients who are in contact with existing confirmed patients or who are investigating the route of infection.
In Ulsan, 6 confirmed cases were added. Excluding 1 confirmed overseas inflow, there were 5 confirmed cases in Korea. Three of them (Ulsan No. 918~920) are confirmed cases related to Gwangju TCS International School. Ulsan No. 916 is under investigation of the path of infection, and Ulsan No. 921 was further confirmed through this confirmed person.
There were 6 confirmed cases in Daegu. All of them are local cases and are on the scale of one digit in five days. The infection route of 6 new confirmed cases was found to be 2 cases of contact with the existing confirmed cases, and 4 are still under investigation.
In Gyeongbuk, 11 new cases occurred. By region, there are 3 people from Gumi, 2 each from Pohang, Andong, and Cheongdo, and 1 each from Gyeongsan and Chilgok. In Gumi, two contacts of a confirmed Daegu patient and one in the corona 19 test received before admission to the hospital were positive. In Pohang, one resident who visited the United States and one merchant were confirmed in a thorough inspection of the traditional market. In Andong, two Taekwondo academy students who visited the screening clinic due to symptoms were positive, and the quarantine authorities are conducting an epidemiological investigation. In Cheongdo and Gyeongsan, two residents who had contact with the confirmed patient were infected, and in Chilgok, one resident who visited the screening clinic for symptoms was infected.
In Gangwon, 18 confirmed cases were added. By region, there are 8 people in Cheorwon (No. 198~205 in Cheorwon), 7 people in Donghae (No. 223~229 in Donghae), 2 people in Inje (No. 41~42 in Inje), and 1 person in Wonju No. 446. Of the 7 new confirmed patients in Donghae, 5 are family members of Donghae No. 222, and 2 are investigating the path of infection. In Cheorwon, three people who had contact with Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province were confirmed, and one of them, two family members and one co-worker, were also serially infected. In Inje, a person in his twenties who recently visited Seoul was confirmed, and one of his family members was also infected.
In Gwangju, 112 confirmed patients (1524~1635 in Gwangju) poured out during the day. Of these, 106 confirmed cases related to IM Mission are those who are investigating the route of infection or those with unknown infection routes.
This month, Gwangju City has four IM mission facilities in Gwangju, including TCS Ace International School (Bitnaeri Church), Gwangju TCS International School (Hanmaeum Church), Tikhun TCS International School (Gwangmyeong Seohyeon Church), and Antioch Trinity CAS (Antioch Church). Church visitors who were close to the facility were asked to undergo diagnostic tests immediately.
Of these, 6 TCS Ace International School (Buk-gu, Gwangju) and 100 TCS International School (Gwangju-gu) were added on this day.
In Jeonnam, 12 people were diagnosed with Corona 19 and were classified as 723-734 confirmed cases. These were 7 Hwasun, 4 Yeongam, and 1 Naju respectively. In Hwasun, a serial infection was followed by a confirmed public official (No. 712) of the Hwasun-gun Sapyeong-myeon office confirmed on the 24th. The 722 confirmed the previous day was a contact with the 712 confirmed, and all seven confirmed Hwasun on that day were infected by contact with the 722 or N-order infection. Four confirmed cases in Yeongam were confirmed during self-isolation as confirmed cases related to Yeongam Gwaneumsa Temple.
In Jeonbuk, the number of confirmed patients increased by 13 (Jeonbuk No. 1015-1027). Of these, 11 people occurred in Korea, excluding 2 people from overseas. Nine of these are employees of the Gimje meat processing plant. Jeonbuk No. 1015 is a Japanese engineer, and he arrived in Japan on the 7th along with Jeonbuk No. 1014 confirmed the day before. They visited a meat processing company in Gimje for the purpose of transferring technology related to freezers. At the time of entry, it was judged negative by the PCR test, and was identified as a special case for exemption from self-isolation related to industry (expedited entry procedure for businessmen). They are known to have done related work in the metropolitan area before Park Moon Kimje.
As of 0 o’clock on the day, 43 confirmed cases of overseas inflow were recorded. The number of confirmed cases was 28 in the Americas, 7 in Asia, 7 in Europe, and 1 in Africa. The nationality was 22 Koreans and 21 foreigners.
The cumulative death toll was 1378, an increase of 7 from the previous day. The overall fatality rate is 1.80%. There were 270 patients with gastric/severe disease, the same number as the previous day. The cumulative suspicion of patients was 5.49,247, of which 5.25,4391 were negatively determined and quarantined. There are 138427 people in the process of testing.
