53.8% of the visitors to the Sangju BTJ World Center did not respond to diagnostic tests… Gyeonggi-do, review of accusation measures

Gyeonggi Province announced on the 12th that more than half of the residents who visited the BTJ World Center in Sangju, Gyeongsangbuk-do are reviewing charges against visitors who continue to refuse tests, claiming that they have not been tested by the deadline of the administrative order for diagnostic tests.

Gyeonggi-do Corona 19 Emergency Response Director Lim Seung-gwan held a regular press conference on this day and explained the situation in relation to the recent spread of BTJ Community Center in Sangju, Gyeongbuk.

Do-do has issued an administrative order for residents who have visited the BTJ World Center or participated in events since November 27 last year on the 8th to undergo diagnostic tests by the 11th.

As of 0 o’clock on the 12th, a total of 857 visitors from the Sangju BTJ World Center live in Gyeonggi-do. Of these, 396 were tested, confirming 41 positive and 259 negative. 96 are undergoing tests. The remaining 461 (53.8%) were not tested until the 11th. Most of them are unable to talk on the phone or refuse to be tested.

The province is encouraging the follow-up of test subjects and diagnostic tests with the cooperation of police personnel at each health center, and is reviewing accusations against those who continue to refuse tests among those involved in visiting the Nation Center.

Director Lim said, “If you hide without being tested, the situation that could be blocked early could lead to a bigger situation that could cause another community infection.” “If you have a history of visiting the BTJ Community Center, be sure to visit a public health center or a temporary screening center. Please visit and get an examination.”

As of 0 o’clock on the 12th, the number of confirmed patients in Gyeonggi-do was 17,233, an increase of 175 from the previous day, and there were confirmed cases in 28 cities and counties in the province. A total of 1,011 beds are secured by medical institutions in the province, including hospital beds for general and severe patients, and the current bed utilization rate is 802 beds, 79.3%. Among them, 90 treatment beds for severely ill patients are in use with 63, and the current utilization rate is 71.6%.

As of 6 pm on the 11th, 1,501 people entered 8 general life treatment centers, including Nos. 3 through 11, and the No. 1 special life treatment center in Gyeonggi Province, showing an operation rate of 52.3%, and the remaining capacity is 1,369.

In connection with the confirmation of the Anseong Psychiatric Hospital, 39 people were confirmed by the 11th after the first confirmed case on the 16th of last month. There were 38 inpatients and 1 medical staff. Thirty-nine confirmed patients were promptly transferred to the National Mental Health Center, and all 128 non-contact persons who were isolated in the same group in three wards were all taken to a psychiatric hospital in Icheon City.
