According to a survey, more than 50% of people working in major U.S. companies trust cryptocurrency. 57% of respondents said they currently have cryptocurrency.

More than 1,800 people participated in a recent survey conducted by Blind, a workplace-based anonymous community. Among the respondents, employees of various companies such as Twitter, Amazon, and JPMorgan were included.

The survey questions consisted of whether the cryptocurrency was trusted or held, and whether the company would accept it when it offered to pay cryptocurrency as part of professional compensation. “The most surprising thing about this survey is that only half of the survey respondents trust cryptocurrency,” said Fiorella Ricobono, a blind PR expert.

Interestingly, when looking at the survey results, the rate of trust in cryptocurrency was higher among employees of large investment banks than those in the technical profession. For example, 90% of JPMorgan and 70% of Goldman Sachs said they trust cryptocurrency.

This seems to be related to the recent increase in the rate of cryptocurrency investment by institutional investors. Goldman Sachs has reopened the cryptocurrency trading desk on the 1st and 3rd years.

On the other hand, only 52% and 50% of respondents at Amazon and Apple said they trust cryptocurrency, respectively.

Only 39% of respondents answered positively when asked if they would accept the financial compensation they receive at work in cryptocurrency. In the case of PayPal employees who started the cryptocurrency trading service at the end of last year, only 38% of respondents said they would accept cryptocurrency compensation.

Employees employed by companies familiar with cryptocurrency tended to trust cryptocurrency relatively more in other companies. Twitter employees who responded to the survey said 75% own cryptocurrency, and Bloomberg employees said 64% of respondents own cryptocurrency.
