A mother in her 30s attempted self-harm after stabbing her 5-year-old daughter’s breast with a weapon, and the police investigated.

The Gyeonggi Anseong Police Department announced on the 18th that it was investigating Mr. A (37) on charges of attempted murder.

According to the police, Mr. A is accused of stabbing his daughter B (5) in the chest with a weapon.

It is reported that Mr. A committed self-harm immediately after notifying her husband of the crime.

The police, who were reported and dispatched, found Mr. A and Miss B who fell at the scene of the incident and transferred them to the hospital. Fortunately, both of them were found to have no harm to their lives.

The police are investigating the details of the case based on statements from family members that Mr. A usually suffered from mental illness such as depression.
