The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that as of 0 o’clock on the 28th, the number of confirmed cases of the new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) in Korea increased by 497 compared to the same time the day before.
Of the new cases, 479 are community outbreaks. There were 258 cases in Seoul (102), Gyeonggi (116), and Incheon (40) alone. Of these, 47 were confirmed after an anonymous examination at the temporary screening inspection center in the metropolitan area. In addition, 53 from Busan, 44 from Gwangju, 43 from Gyeongbuk, 24 from Chungbuk, 19 from Gyeongnam, 10 from Daegu, 8 from Jeonnam, 6 from Gangwon, 5 from Ulsan, Daejeon and Chungnam 4 people in each and 1 in Jeonbuk. Patients occurred in all 15 provinces nationwide except Sejong and Jeju.
There were 18 cases of foreign inflow, of which 14 were counted as Koreans. Seven people were diagnosed during the quarantine stage and 11 during self-quarantine after entering the country.
The quarantine release, which means cure, increased by 538 people to a cumulative increase of 66,016 people, and 8 more people died, resulting in 1,386 people. On this day, the number of patients with severe gastric disorders decreased by 19 to 251.
