The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that as of 0 o’clock on the 17th, the number of confirmed coronavirus infections (Corona 19) in Korea increased by 469 compared to the same time the day before. A total of 621,734 responded to the Corona 19 vaccination, which began on the 26th of last month. The number of AstraZeneca vaccinations was 58,996 and Pfizer vaccination was 33,738. Cumulative 9,003 cases were reported as suspected of adverse reactions.
Of the new confirmed cases, 452 are community outbreaks. There were 323 people in Seoul (120 people), Gyeonggi (182), and Incheon (21) only in the metropolitan area. Of these, 62 were confirmed after an anonymous examination at the temporary screening inspection center in the metropolitan area. The number of quarantine releases, which means cure, has increased by 559, accumulating to 88,814. The death toll increased by 8 to 1,686. The number of gastric and severe patients decreased by 3 to 100.
