456 new coronavirus confirmed… Mid-400 people for five days in a row

A new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) in Korea showed signs of re-proliferation, and the number of new confirmed cases on the 21st was in the mid-400 range.

The Central Defense Response Headquarters announced that as of 0 o’clock on the day, the number of new corona confirmed cases increased by 456, accumulating 98665. The number increased by 4 from the previous day (452) and continued to 400 for five consecutive days from the 17th (469).

Looking at the route of infection of the new confirmed patients on this day, 437 local outbreaks and 19 foreign inflows.

The number of new confirmed cases, which showed a modest decline this year, soared to the 600 level right after the Lunar New Year holiday (February 11-14) and then dropped to 300-400. As the infection continues, it is showing an increase again.

On this day, the number of deaths from Corona 19 increased by 3, and the cumulative death to date is a total of 1696 (fatality rate of 1.72%).

There were 379 newly released patients. By this day, 9,328 people have been released from quarantine. There are currently 6641 people in containment. The number of gastric and severe patients was counted as 104.
