Japan’s new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) has been spreading with more than 4,000 new confirmed cases for 8 consecutive days.
According to the local public broadcaster NHK on the 12th, the number of corona19 confirmed in Japan on that day increased by 4535 by 8:30 pm. As a result, the cumulative confirmed number reached 290,880, and the number of deaths increased by 64 to 4,192.
Even after the Japanese government declared an emergency on the 8th, the increase in the number of confirmed cases remains unabated. Accordingly, the Japanese government is expected to expand the area in which the emergency is issued on the 13th, as the local governments request to declare additional emergency situations.
According to NHK and others, the Japanese government has 7 in all, including Osaka, Kyoto, and Hyogo prefectures, as well as Aichi, Gifu, Fukuoka, and Tochigi prefectures. Final coordination is under way to issue additional emergencies in dog areas.
Currently, only four metropolitan local governments, including Tokyo, Saitama, Kanagawa, and Chiba prefectures, have been issued an emergency.
If all of these areas are declared an emergency, it means that an emergency will be issued in 11 prefectures, which is about a quarter of the 47 prefectures nationwide.
The Japanese government, which took effect in Tokyo and other countries on the 8th, plans to lift the emergency by the end of the 7th of next month.
