Delivery App The elegant brothers who run the delivery app announced that they will compensate the store owner, customers, and riders (delivery workers) for the service interruption for about 4 hours in the evening due to a failure due to a congestion of orders on the 24th of Christmas Eve.

On the 25th, the elegant brothers said, “The order for Baemin Riders (app for riders) and B Mart (delivery-type convenience store) was disabled for 4 hours from 6:38 pm on the 24th, causing great inconvenience to riders and B Mart users.” We politely apologize for this and come up with a compensation plan.”

Accordingly, it was decided to waive the one-day brokerage fee for restaurant owners who suffered significant losses due to not receiving orders for Christmas Eve, which is considered the best part of the year.

In addition, I received an order from Baemin Riders during the failure time the previous day, but I decided to compensate for the full price of the food for the case that the customer cancels the order.

The rider (delivery agent) and connector (part-time job concept) who received more than one dispatch (order) between 5 and 9 pm the day before will be paid 60,000 won each. Target riders can receive this 60,000 won in total on the next delivery fee payment date.

The graceful brothers also decided to pay the rider’s part-time insurance premiums incurred during off-hours.

Consumers who suffered damage such as cancellation of orders due to a paralysis of the Baemin Riders server the day before can receive a 30,000 won coupon.

The graceful brothers said, “Currently, (the server) is normalized, and all services can be used stably.”
