Candidate Park Young-sun has announced plans to supply 300,000 public housing units within five years, and Candidate Se-Hoon Oh’s plan to supply 360,000 customized housing units.

Looking at Candidate Park’s real estate pledge, the key is to use state-owned land and private land to build a half-price apartment through the land lease. Land lease rent refers to a house that the developer leases to tenants and sells only buildings.

To this end, it will use the land created by undergrounding the Gyeongbu Expressway. Candidate Park explained that such lands are owned by the public, such as the state or Seoul, that half-price apartments are possible.

Candidate Oh promoted redevelopment and reconstruction normalization (185,000 households),’win-win housing’ (70,000 households) built by leasing private land,’Moa House’ (30,000 households), an urban townhouse, and succession of the existing Seoul supply plan It plans to secure supply through (110,000 households → 75,000 households).

Win-win housing is a way to use private land. When the private sector provides land, public institutions build houses, but the city of Seoul pays monthly rent to the landlord and provides tax benefits. Housing built on the land secured through this will be supplied as long-term jeonse housing for young people and newlyweds.

Moa House is the idea to create an urban townhouse by gathering several houses located in the city center that do not have space for a single car.
