The government has decided to start providing the 3rd subsidy for the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19) from the 11th. In addition, 90% payment will be completed before Lunar New Year holidays.
On the 6th, Deputy Prime Minister Hong Nam-ki and Minister of Strategy and Finance held a meeting of the Emergency Economy Central Countermeasure Headquarters and a meeting of ministers related to the New Deal for the Korean version at the Seoul Government Complex on the 6th, and made this announcement.
In the case of the support fund for small business owners and the emergency employment stabilization support fund, the existing beneficiaries decided to start payment from the 11th after a business announcement on the day. The plan is to pay 90% before the Lunar New Year holiday.
The selection of new applicants will proceed later.
The rental loan program worth KRW 1 trillion for the prohibited collective business will start lending during this month through online application. From the 18th, the guarantee fees for the collective limited business loans and the second-stage financial support program for small business owners will be reduced.
It also decided to execute the vaccine purchase cost of about 1 trillion won, such as an advance payment for the purchase of 20 million US modders and vaccines, as planned.
After completing the procedure for obtaining a vaccine, the government predicted that in February, it would be possible to start vaccination first for medical staff and the elderly.
Deputy Prime Minister Hong Nam-gi said, “Please make sure that the relevant ministries make every effort to prepare in advance so that there is no setback in relation to customized damage support and vaccine purchase.”
