On the 28th, confirmed cases of novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19) were followed across the country.
According to the quarantine authorities and local governments such as the Seoul Metropolitan Government, a total of 328 new confirmed cases nationwide tested positive for Corona 19 from 0 o’clock to 9 PM on that day. This is 21 more than the 307 counted at the same time the day before.
In the area where confirmed cases were found, 256 people (78%) in the metropolitan area and 72 people (22%) in the non-metropolitan area. By province, Gyeonggi 146, Seoul 93, Incheon 17, Busan 16, Gyeongbuk 12, Daegu 9, Chungbuk 8, Gwangju 7, Gangwon 5, Gyeongnam, Chungnam, Jeonbuk, 4 each, Ulsan 2 , Sejong is one.
Of the 17 cities and provinces nationwide, there have been no confirmed cases in Daejeon, Jeonnam, and Jeju.
As there is still time until midnight, when the count is closed, the number of new confirmed cases to be announced as of 00:00 on March 1 is expected to increase more than this, reaching around 300 in the mid-to-late range, and at most around 400. On the 27th, the final count was 356, an increase of 49 people since 9 pm.
Recently, the number of new confirmed cases has gone up and down in the 300-400 range, showing neither a sharp increase nor a distinct decrease.
From the 22nd of this month to this day, the number of new confirmed cases for the past week was 332→356→440→395→390→415→356. During this period, there were 5 for 300 people and 2 for 400 people.
The number of confirmed cases of daily average regional occurrence, which is a key indicator of the adjustment of the’social distancing’ stage, has maintained the range of the second stage of distancing (over 300 people nationwide) since the last 25 days (about 395 people).
