In the midst of continuous child abuse cases in childcare facilities in China, 29 needle marks were found on the body of a 3-year-old infant attending a kindergarten in Shaanxi Province, causing great controversy.

On the 19th, Weibo (Chinese version of Twitter) attracted great attention to the’needle mark incident’ that occurred in a kindergarten in Xian City, Shaanxi Province the day before.

The infant’s mother brought the child to the house after kindergarten classes were over. Suddenly, she said she had a sore leg, so when she took off her clothes, many needle marks other than on her body were found.

When the mother, who was so surprised, asked her why this happened, she said, “Today the teacher gave me an injection.”

After that, when the child’s condition was not serious, I took him to the hospital and examined it. A whopping 29 needle irritation was found in the thigh, waist, and knee.

The enraged mother asked for an explanation from the kindergarten teacher in question, but did not receive any answers.

The kindergarten side promised to handle this case well, but there was no answer after that, so the child’s parents reported to the police.

The problem is that in China, there are not one or two accidents of child abuse in childcare facilities.

In China, if a child care teacher beats them for not listening, there is a high concern that they will be reported. In general, there are many cases in which infants suffer pain by stabbing them with an invisible needle.

In November 2017, a teacher at Hong Huang-ran Kindergarten in Beijing was arrested after stabbing injection needles by four inmates for not listening, and was sentenced to one year and six months in prison. Kindergarten teacher qualifications were also suspended for five years.

This kindergarten teacher turned Beijing upside down at the time when suspicions of child abuse, such as stabbing children with injection needles and feeding drugs containing hallucinogens, were raised.

In April 2017, a teacher assaulted a student at another kindergarten in the same chain.

Meanwhile, the Chinese authorities have issued a related rule so that teachers who commit this behavior are not allowed to engage in lifelong teaching due to frequent abuse of teachers in elementary, middle and high schools, including kindergartens.
