20,000 vaccinations over two days… ‘Reporting Adverse Reactions’ 111 AZ, 1 Pfizer

According to the Central Defense Agency, 1217 people were newly vaccinated with the Corona 19 vaccine as of 0 o’clock on the 28th. On the 26th and 27th, a total of 2,322 people received vaccination for both days. 22,000 people from nursing hospitals and facilities who received the AstraZeneca vaccine, and Pfizer vaccine, which the Corona 19 medical staff received, was administered to 300 people. In terms of specific vaccination institutions and subjects, 15,401 nursing hospitals (hereinafter, the inoculation rate 7.6% of the total subjects), nursing facilities 4608 (4.3%), corona 19 patient treatment hospitals 300 (0.5%), first response 13 agents were vaccinated.

In the statistics, 13 first responders do not correspond to 22,322. The quarantine authorities said, “The first responders are currently grasping the total number of subjects, and the number of vaccinations remaining after vaccination (10 doses per bottle of AstraZeneca) according to the judgment of the local government.” Earlier, the quarantine authorities announced a policy to allow additional vaccinations by maximizing the residual amount by using a minimum residual syringe (Low Dead Space, LDS). Earlier, the quarantine authorities also sent an official letter to the vaccination site stating, “For the part of using the residual amount, use it so that the amount of waste is not generated at the site as much as possible.”

After the COVID-19 vaccination, there were 97 cases (total 112 cases) reported as suspected of adverse reactions. The quarantine authorities explained, “All were mild cases such as headache, fever, nausea, and vomiting, which can be common after vaccination.” Of the 97 cases, 96 AstraZeneca vaccines and 1 Pfizer vaccine. Of 112 cases, AstraZeneca had 111 and Pfizer had one.
