In addition, the Democratic Party and the government agreed yesterday (28th) to pay a total of 19 trillion won for the 4th disaster support to them, self-employed people, and small business owners. On the 4th, the plan is to submit the supplementary bill to the National Assembly and pay the support from the end of this month.

We decided to add special employment/freelance workers, etc., which we have not received before, to the target of support.
500,000 won is paid as a livelihood support to street vendors and temporary daily workers.
The number of applications for small business owners has also increased significantly.
We raised the base line for subsidies originally given only to companies with less than 5 full-time workers and less than 400 million won in annual sales, up to 5 or more employees and 1 billion won in annual sales.
In addition, in the case of businesses that are prohibited or restricted from gatherings, we have decided to reduce electricity bills up to 50% for 3 months.
As a result, the total number of applications has increased by an additional 2 million.
Along with this, we decided to reflect the total amount of funds required for the purchase and vaccination of the Corona 19 vaccine for 79 million people.
If the Ministry of Information and Transportation prepares an additional draft based on this agreement, it will be submitted to the National Assembly on the 4th after a resolution of the Cabinet Council tomorrow.
The Democratic Party has announced that it will pass the supplementary bill as quickly as possible within this month so that small business owners can receive support funds.
