‘PH129′ (formerly’The Penthouse Cheongdam’, photo) in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, has been ranked as the most expensive apartment house in the country. This year’s planned public price of 407 square meters for this apartment is set at 16.3 billion won. This is the first time since the public housing price system was implemented, a house with an official price exceeding 10 billion won has been released. The 5th Traum House in Seocho-gu, Seoul, which has maintained the No. 1 position for 15 years, has been pushed to the second place.
According to the ‘2021 public housing price (proposal)’ released by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, among the apartment houses in Seoul, the house with the highest public price was’PH129′ in Cheongdam-dong. The official price of 407.71m2 for exclusive use amounted to 16.3 billion won.
‘PH129’ is an apartment built in the location of Ellui Hotel in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. It was completed last October. The complex is of 29 households, including 27 units of 273m2 for exclusive use of 6 floors below ground to 20 floors above ground and 2 units of the highest floor penthouse. It is known that celebrities Jang Dong-gun and Ko So-young couple and star math instructor Hyun Woo-jin received pre-sale.
The second place was’Traum House 5th’ in Seocho-dong, Seocho-gu, which kept the number one publicly listed price for 15 years from 2006 to last year. The 5th public announcement price of Traum House is 7.29 billion won, an increase of 36 million won from last year (6.992 billion won). Located in 1496-26, Seocho-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, it is an 18-family luxury row house owned by the late Samsung Group chairman Lee Kun-hee. Following this, 247.03㎡ dedicated to Building A of’Hyosung Villa Cheongdam 101′ in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, ranked third with 7 billion.64 million won.
