Yesterday in Seoul, the number of confirmed corona19 patients on a day fell by 1 from the previous day to 151. As of this month, the number of people continues to be less than 200, but as sporadic group infections have occurred in various places, the quarantine authorities are not slowing down the tension.
On the 15th, the Central Defense Response Headquarters announced yesterday that the number of corona19 confirmed in Seoul was counted as 151. The number of confirmed patients in Seoul recorded 90 on the 8th and fell below 100 in 83 days, but has remained in the 100 range since.
Sporadic group infections continued throughout Seoul. Nine people related to sports facilities in Guro-gu and 3 people related to sports facilities in Seongbuk-gu were confirmed. 26 people related to a hospital in Yongsan-gu and 3 people related to a hospital in Seongdong-gu were also confirmed. The number of contacts with other confirmed patients was 47, and contacts with confirmed patients in other cities and provinces were counted.
The previous day, four of the new confirmed cases were inflow from overseas, and 147 were from local communities. Of these, 34 were confirmed by an anonymous test at a temporary screening laboratory. The death toll on the previous day also increased by 1, and the cumulative death toll in Seoul was 356. As of 0 o’clock on the 15th, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in Seoul was 26,324. 4,081 people were undergoing quarantine treatment, and 21,887 were discharged from the hospital after being cured.
