According to the city of Chungnam-do and Asan on the 17th, eight more confirmed cases related to the cricket boiler plant in Chungnam-do on that day alone.

Nine of the staff were tested in different locations and received positive notifications.

In this factory, the first confirmed cases occurred on the 13th, which is the Lunar New Year holiday.

It is reported that many employees visited their hometown during the Lunar New Year holidays and met their families and acquaintances without knowing this.

This is why nine confirmed employees of the Asan cricket boiler plant came out in Daegu, Gyeongsan, Chuncheon, and Osan.

The quarantine authorities completed a full inspection of 641 cricket factory employees on this day, but the nth infection by them is now beginning.

There were six confirmed cases in Daejeon that day, of which five are the families of employees of the cricket factory that they met during the Lunar New Year holidays.

In Cheongdo, Gyeongsangbuk-do, two people who had contacted three factory workers during the Lunar New Year were notified of training.

Family members of cricket factory employees in Daegu, Gyeonggi-do Siheung, and Busan were confirmed to be infected, but they were not included in the total number of employees.

In other regions, secondary infections of the family members of cricket boilers sporadically continue, but the quarantine authorities in Chungnam Province are not aware of how many employees have visited their hometown during the Lunar New Year holidays.

The quarantine authorities are also tense that more than 20 foreigners are included among the confirmed cases.

In Chungcheongnam-do, until recently, a group infection occurred mainly in foreign workers at a Thai food store in Cheonan and a broiler processing plant in Dangjin, which caused measles once.

Governor Yang Seung-jo said, “We investigated foreign workers on the basis of the last group infection of Thais, but we do not judge that they have been thoroughly investigated,” said Governor Yang Seung-jo.
