(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Nam-jik Han = The Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO) has unveiled 115 male and female professional volleyball V-League All-Star candidates for the 2020-2021 season.
On the 13th, KOVO confirmed and announced a list of 115 people, including 66 men and 49 women, who will be subject to the All-Star fan vote.
Kim Yeon-kyung (Heungkuk Life Insurance), who leads the 2020-2021 V-League box office, was nominated for the K-Star striker category.
Kim Yeon-kyung’s overwhelming skill and overwhelming support from fans is the main issue of this All-Star fan vote.
All-star fan voting will be held on the KOVO website from the 15th to the 25th of this month. You can only vote once a day.
All-star players will be selected for a total of 28 players, 7 men and women for the K-Star team and the V-Star team.
K-Star consists of Woori Card for men, Hyundai Capital, Samsung Fire Insurance, Hyundai E&C, Heungkuk Life Insurance, and IBK Industrial Bank for women.
V-Star consists of men’s Korean Air, OK Financial Group, KB Insurance, KEPCO, and Women’s GS Caltex, KGC Ginseng Corporation, and Korea Expressway Corporation.
Fans can vote online with 3 strikers (left/right), 2 centers, 1 setter, 1 libero, and 7 for each team.
KOVO allowed only up to three people per club to vote for a balanced selection.
This All-Star Games will not be held to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19).
KOVO plans to hold an event to present souvenirs to all-star players.
