It was found that 109 confirmed cases of a novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19) in Seoul area occurred in 21 hours from 0 o’clock to 9 PM on the 14th. According to this, the number of cumulative confirmed cases in Seoul exceeded 30,000.
According to the Seoul Metropolitan Government, as of 9 p.m. on that day, the cumulative corona19 confirmed in the city was 358.
The previous day (13th) from 0 o’clock to 9 p.m., 109 people were diagnosed, and the same confirmed cases occurred on the same time basis on the same day. On the previous day, 3 people were added from 9 pm to 12 pm, resulting in a total of 112 confirmed cases.
It was only 416 days after the first confirmed case on January 23 last year that the cumulative number of corona 19 confirmed in Seoul was recorded in the 30,000 range.
On September 21, last year, the number of cumulative confirmed cases in Seoul was around 5,000. On December 4, last year, the cumulative number of confirmed cases exceeded 10,000. After the first confirmed case, it recorded 5,000 people in 242 days and 10,000 in 317 days.
On January 3, the cumulative number of confirmed cases exceeded 20,000. More than 10,000 confirmed cases were added again in 29 days after recording the cumulative number of cases of 10,000. Since then, the spread has been somewhat reduced, and the number of confirmed cases has reached 30,000 in 70 days after the outbreak.
The number of daily confirmed cases in Seoul has been maintained at around 100 since the outbreak of 92 on the 28th of last month. From the 1st to the previous day, the number was 122→119→118→129→128→132→100→102→138→138→140→140→112, recording three digits for 13 consecutive days.
On this day, as of 9 pm, more than 100 confirmed cases already appeared, and on the 14th day, the number of confirmed cases was recorded in the range of 100.
Looking at additional confirmed patients by major infection route, three people related to group infection at restaurants in Yeongdeungpo-gu were added, and the cumulative number of related confirmed cases increased to 45. The number of confirmed cases related to medical institutions in Guro-gu was added, and the number of confirmed cases was 16.
One additional confirmed person related to the group infection of Gangdong-gu Gwangmungo sports club’Gwangmun FC’ was also added. As a result, there were 23 cumulative confirmed cases in Seoul. The cumulative number of confirmed cases nationwide is 27.
In addition, confirmed cases related to group infection were added, including one related to children’s facilities in Dobong-gu (24 people in total) and one related to daycare center in Dobong-gu (10 people in total).
