[아시아경제 조현의 기자] The number of new coronavirus infections in Korea (Corona 19) rose to 1,000 again on the 29th. It recorded a four-digit number in three days since the 26th due to massive infection at the Eastern Detention Center in Seoul.
The Central Defense Response Headquarters (Bang Dae-bon) announced that as of 0 o’clock on this day, the number of corona 19 confirmed cases increased by 1046 from the previous day to 58725.
When looking at the path of infection of the new confirmed cases, 1030 local outbreaks and 16 foreign inflows.
Nearly 8 out of 10 confirmed local outbreaks occurred in the metropolitan area. Local outbreaks occurred in the metropolitan area alone, including 519 in Seoul, 251 in Gyeonggi, and 32 in Incheon, accounting for 77.9% of the total.

The number of patients who were cured and released from quarantine was 4,703, an increase of 1435 from the previous day. The death toll was 859, an increase of 40 from the previous day.
