The Central Defense Response Headquarters (Bang Dae-bon) announced that 101 new cases were reported as adverse reactions after vaccination as of 0 o’clock on the 23rd.

Earlier, the Corona 19 Vaccination Response Promotion Team has tentatively concluded that 15 out of 16 patients who completed the cause of death analysis were not related to vaccination. However, for two people who are undergoing autopsy, they will be judged after confirming the autopsy results.

There were no additional reports of suspected cases of’anaphylaxis’, which is a severe systemic allergic reaction. As a result, since the start of vaccination on the 26th of last month, the number of suspected adverse reactions reported accumulated 9804. Among them, 9,586 cases were related to AstraZeneca vaccine, accounting for 97.8% of all reports. There were 218 cases (2.2%) related to Pfizer vaccine.

The reporting rate of adverse reactions compared to those vaccinated was 1.54% for AstraZeneca vaccine and 0.37% for Pfizer vaccine.

There were 7 cases of suspicion of serious adverse reactions other than mild. Five cases of nervous system reactions, including convulsions, and two hospitalizations in the intensive care unit, are all cases related to the AstraZeneca vaccine.
