100 confirmed cases of novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19) occurred at TCS International School in Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju, an unauthorized facility operated by IM Mission. It is the largest since the outbreak of Corona 19 in Gwangju.
Gwangju City announced on the 26th that 100 students, including students and faculty members, had been tested positive at the TCS International School located in Gwangsan-gu during the corona19 full test on IM mission-related educational facilities. Gwangsan-gu TCS International School was currently conducting training camps for 122 students and faculty members from all over the country.
On that day, the city of Gwangju conducted a corona 19 test on 135 people, including not only students and faculty members, but also members. Of these, 26 tested negative and the rest are undergoing tests. Gwangsan-gu TCS International School, operated by Hanmaeum Church, is currently in isolation from the outside world.
The city plans to transfer the confirmed patients to a life treatment center near where they live, considering that most of the TCS International School students in Gwangsan-gu, who were confirmed on the day, are minors from 6 to teens, and more than half of the students are residents of other areas.
Earlier, the city found 37 confirmed cases by conducting an epidemiological investigation centering on visitors to related churches and educational facilities after the first confirmed cases occurred at Ace TCS International School in Buk-gu on the 23rd.
