It was confirmed that the aunt who killed her 10-year-old nephew by violently assaulting her nephew and forcibly putting it into the bathtub water to kill her was a shaman. The prosecution said that they believed that their nephew was possessed as a ghost, and that it appeared to have committed the crime to pursue it.
The Suwon District Prosecutor’s Office (Chief Prosecutor Won-ho Kim) passed the aunt B (34, shaman) of A (10) who died on charges of murder and child abuse under the Child Welfare Act and C (33, Korean traditional music player) on the last 5 days. He announced on the 7th that he had been charged with arrest.
From 11:20 am on the 8th, Ms. A’s hands and feet were tied with a clothesline and plastic in the bathroom of their apartment in Gorim-dong, Cheoin-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, and then forcibly put their heads in a bathtub filled with water several times before removing them. He is accused of killing by abuse for more than 30 minutes.
It was confirmed that they committed one more of these cruel acts on January 24. On the day of Ms. A’s death, it was also confirmed that Ms. A was assaulted with plastic fly swabs for about 3 hours prior to the harsh act.
The assault against Miss A continued for nearly four hours on February 7th, the day before his death. The prosecution found that Mr. B and Mrs. B committed a total of 14 times of abuse, including assault, from the end of December of last year until Ms. A died.
It was confirmed that the B couple forced A to lick the poop of their dog on January 20 this year. In particular, they took pictures and videos of this process several times while inflicting terrible and grotesque cruelty on Miss A. The investigative agency secured the photos and videos taken in this way as evidence.
Initially, it is known that the motive for the crime of Mr. B’s couple was that the nephew did not listen to the words and was unable to cover the toilets based on their statements. However, the prosecution also believes that Mr. B, a shaman, believed that Ms. A possessed a ghost and intended to pursue it.

An official at the prosecution said, “The video taken by Mr. B contains words that Mr. B said, such as that he must chase ghosts. Mr. A has lived in this house since the beginning of November last year. It is presumed that it was because Mr. B believed that Miss A possessed a ghost at that time.”
The death of Ms. A was confirmed as secondary shock and drowning as a result of an autopsy by the National Institute of Scientific Investigation. Secondary shock is caused by a lack of oxygen in the tissue that occurs following a preceding cause such as trauma, which causes breathing difficulties. The autopsy doctor who autopsied Ms. A’s body also gave the same primary findings. In the final result of the noodle tree, drowning was added as a cause of death. It is reported that water and blisters were found in Yang A’s bronchi.
The prosecution said, “In Miss A’s body, extensive subcutaneous bleeding was found throughout the body, the left rib was fractured, and a dislocated tooth was also found in the esophagus.” The prosecution was charged with murder, judging that it was sufficient to admit the unwritten intentions of the death of Mr. B and Mrs. A.
In addition, the prosecution is investigating Mr. A’s biological mother C, who was handed over to the prosecution for neglect under the Child Welfare Act because he did not take any protective measures even though he knew that his daughter was assaulted by Mr. B.
The prosecution is paying attention to the fact that Mr. C, upon hearing that Mr. B, his older sister, that Mr. A seems to be possessed by a ghost, delivered a peach tree branch to use it to chase the ghost. As it is believed that this branch was used to assault Miss A, it can be judged that Mr. C actually tolerated the assault and abuse of Mrs. B’s daughters.
The prosecution is continuing the investigation against Mr. C, while reviewing various support plans, including psychological treatment, for Mr. A’s survivors.
