#1 in cumulative album sales of female singers in 2020… Neither Black Pink nor Twice (Official)

Group IZ*ONE was counted as a female artist with the largest cumulative record sales in 2020.

According to the 2020 annual album sales figures released by Hanteo Chart, the largest album aggregation site in Korea, on the 28th, IZone is among female artists on the 2020 annual album chart (count period: January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020). It ranked first in cumulative sales.

IZone recorded total album sales of 1,292,919 copies last year. It sold 439,994 copies of the 3rd mini album’Oneiric Diary (幻想日記)’, 415,827 copies of the 1st regular album’BLOOM*IZ’, and 378,443 copies of the 4th mini album’One-reeler / Act IV’.

BLACKPINK, which sold 1,052,028 copies, took the second place, and TWICE, which sold 793,635 copies, took the third place. Following this, Izzie ranked fourth with 266,137 copies, and (girl) children ranked fifth with 253,497 copies.

IZone, which released a total of three albums during 2020, also achieved remarkable results in the initial sales division.

The first studio album’BLOOM*IZ’, released in February last year, posted a record of 356,313 copies of the first album, and the first girl group recorded 300,000 copies. ‘Oneiric Diary (幻想日記)’, which was released afterwards, broke its own record with 389,334 copies, showing the potential to set a record of 1,100,914 copies of initial sales in 2020 alone.

Meanwhile, IZ*ONE is a project group created through the’Produce 101′ series,’Produce 48′.
