David Schwartz, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Ripple, a blockchain-based overseas remittance platform, has recently introduced a globally hungry NFT (Non-Fungible Token) to XRP Ledger (XRP Ledger). XRPL), he said, is considering introducing it.

According to The Daily Hodl, a cryptocurrency specialty media on the 18th (local time), David Schwartz recently told Thinking Crypto, “Recently, personal interest in NFT has increased.” I am curious about the direction, etc.,” he added.

Earlier last month, Wietse Wind, founder of Ripple-based development studio XRPL Labs, announced plans to add NFTs to XRPL.

Meanwhile, Ripple announced on its official website that it has recruited Brooks Entwistle, a former Uber Chief Business Officer (CBO), as Ripple’s general director of Southeast Asia.

In this regard, Ripple said, “Brooks is Uber’s CBO with experience solving regulatory issues across the Asia Pacific region. Prior to joining Uber, he was a financial expert who worked at Goldman Sachs for more than 20 years. The payment ecosystem in Southeast Asia is in-depth understanding. “It’s a fairly complex structure that requires different countries. However, there is a growing demand for RippleNet from fintech and payment service providers in Southeast Asia. As a result, Brooks, who has extensive experience in international business, has been recruited as general director of Southeast Asia.” He explained.

Ripple (XRP), the 7th place in the market cap, is down 0.42% from the coin market cap as of 10:40 am on March 19 (KST), recording about $0.4682. Ripple token price has only risen 2.73% over the past 7 days.
