[직격인터뷰] Choi Hong-lim “30 years confession of violence against brother-in-law, that was not broadcast”

Comedian and professional golfer Choi Hong-lim, 55, cried out when he met his 10-year-old brother who had been desperate for 30 years.

He appeared on Channel A’s’Icon Tact’, which aired on the 6th, and rang out viewers with tears of resentment and pain that had accumulated in his heart for life.

In a phone call with Maeil Business Daily Star Today on the 7th, Choi Hong-lim said, “I didn’t knowingly watch the broadcast because it would be too difficult to watch the broadcast.” “I do not remember what I said. The older sister who watched the broadcast did a lot of editing. It must be because I swear a lot and there were so many episodes that were too stimulating.”

He said, “After recording, I was so scared that I came home right away. During the recording, it was difficult, so I stopped.”

Choi Hong-lim recorded this broadcast a month ago. When asked, “Have you been in contact with my brother?” “I received a text message from an unknown number one day. It seemed to be an older brother. I thought,’I thought it wouldn’t come out.. live healthy and well’, and after looking at it for a while, I still thought I had to answer. I sent him’Healthy and live well’,” he said.

What is the reason why he suddenly revealed his dark family history, who always showed a pleasant appearance on the air?

When asked about the opportunity, “At first, it was an eye contact with my sister who had a kidney transplant. The production crew came to the filming site of’Dongchimi’ four times and made an offer to appear. I kept refusing but decided to have dinner (with the production team), but my sister was at the scene. So I did. ‘What would you say if you broadcast with your sister who watch once a week?’ If you’re going to broadcast, find your brother. I thought I would never find it. I thought it wouldn’t come out even if I found it. But when I went to the recording day, he said he was here. I was so surprised.”

“From then on, it burst, but the subject didn’t work. I couldn’t get into the recording and took a long time. I thought of my mother and I was so hot. It wasn’t a broadcast then. (After the broadcast) I didn’t think there would be a wave or not. When I came home and fell ill, I felt a little worried,” he said.

After the broadcast, Choi Honglim revealed that he had received hundreds of KakaoTalk text messages. It is said that there were various responses from acquaintances’ texts, “Why didn’t you talk about such a situation?”

Even now, he said, “It hurts in fact, but you shouldn’t be forgiven.” “When I asked why he pushed me so much, he said,’I hate that you have love alone.’ I think that’s an excuse,” he said. “I can’t forgive more because of my mother who returned.”

In this broadcast, Choi Hong-lim said, “The reason I really dissent with my brother is because of my mother. Because of my older brother, my mother made extreme attempts when I was in elementary school. I barely got a taxi and went to the hospital. I don’t know how many cars did not drive me at that time.”

He has a melancholy childhood and trauma, where his whole body was bruised, but he became a comedian who makes people laugh. In 1987, he made a brilliant debut with a bronze statue at the 1st college comedy, gaining popularity, and then transformed into a professional golfer.

Even now, it is said that the filming site was held with a unique honest and witty talk on various broadcasts.

Choi Hong-lim said, “I could never get through because of my mother. He said, “I wondered how hard it would be if my brother was like that, but if it was me.”

Also, “So I think it was brighter. I couldn’t study, but I didn’t drink alcohol and got along well with my friends. I spent time at school until 10pm every night.

How bright I would have thought the kids were the sons of a wealthy family. Even if I couldn’t pack my lunch, I thought I didn’t pack it because it was bothersome.”

Finally, when asked about his plans for the future, Choi Hong-lim said, “I will work hard on broadcasting, but after a kidney transplant, I fully recovered my health and I am in very good shape. I am going to go to the golf tournament this year.”
