Related items include semiconductors, rare earths, vehicle batteries, and pharmaceuticals that have become seriously affected by Corona 19. In the subject of the one-year review, almost all US industries such as defense, health care, information and communication technology, transportation, energy, agricultural products and food, etc., showed a willingness to look new across the board. From top to bottom, it will review US security and industry as a whole to achieve national reconstruction. He made it clear that he would practically show the return of the United States one by one and use it as an opportunity to consolidate global hegemony.

In fact, unforeseen incidents occur every day in the US, which is proud of being a state-of-the-art country. The bare face of the United States is revealed under one hundred days. Personal ventilators used in hospitals have become scarce. Opening the eyes and watching death occurred one after another in the 21st century civilization.

The same goes for semiconductors. Americans’ feet are cars. Without cars, everyday life becomes meaningless. Public transportation is not developed like Korea. The lack of semiconductor chips for automobiles is enough to build factories such as Tesla GM. Vehicle semiconductors are produced by receiving orders when ordering from consumers. Each of the global automakers has produced less than normal automobile demand this year due to Corona 19.

Because it was made-to-order, manufacturers were also producing it to fit in with it. Car orders that exceeded expectations came in, and semiconductor chips were ordered, leading to a shortage of supply. It is expected that this year alone, the production of more than 1 million cars will drop sharply. If there are 100 chips in an internal combustion vehicle, it is said that an electric vehicle needs 1000 chips and an autonomous vehicle needs 3000 chips. It is becoming apparent that demand will increase explosively in the future. The US Biden government, which is trying to restore its leadership in the industry with the green industry as its motto, is facing seriousness from the beginning.

Korea, China, and Japan are major producers of vehicle batteries as well. At all, American companies have not been listed in the semiconductor chip and vehicle battery sectors. The United States is desperately feeling the situation that the medicines related to Corona 19, such as masks and respirators, cannot be reached if China closes the door along with vehicle batteries. To make matters worse, 80% of rare earths that enter the high-tech industry are imported from China. The F-35 fighter that the United States is proud of cannot be built without Chinese rare earths.

The US faces nothing to discuss except China. You can’t just be hostile to China. Interdependence has grown across industries. First of all, time will tell whether the US strategy of strengthening ties with allies, keeping China in check, and dealing with issues by isolation will be successful. The problem is that China is all prepared, and it swears that it was not China 100 years ago.
