Prime Minister Jeong Sye-gyun has ordered a strong action even through an investigation.

Prime Minister Jeong Sye-gyun presided over today’s cabinet meeting and pointed out that there are many cases of canceling transactions after reporting transactions at a so-called’report price’, which is higher than the usual market price when dealing with real estate such as apartments.

In particular, he pointed out that there are many cases in which the same person cancels several reports after signing a transaction to a specific apartment complex. This is a false report that is not supported by the actual transaction.

In fact, in March last year, 11 out of 16 registered for sale in a single apartment in Ulju-gun, Ulsan were reported as the highest price.

After 20 days, 16 cases were canceled.

Nationally, out of the 855,000 apartment sales registered in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport system last year, about 37,000, or 4.4%, were canceled after registration.

However, looking at the prices of 37,000 canceled transactions, about one-third of them, 31.9%, was the highest at the time.

Prime Minister Jeong Sye-gyun strongly criticized that he would never neglect the fact that such false reporting is governed by some forces in the real estate market.

At the same time, the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs, as well as the National Tax Service and the National Police Agency, ordered organic cooperation to deal with false reports.

If necessary, even through investigation, we ordered strong measures to prevent market disruption.

Earlier, Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Byun Chang-heum also came to the National Assembly yesterday and said that it is necessary to request an investigation for intentional manipulation of real estate market prices.
