Two weeks ahead of the 4·7 re-election by election, the candidates of the ruling and opposing Seoul Mayors have set out to secure allies.

Democratic Party candidate Park Young-seon joined hands with Gyeonggi Gyeonggi Governor Lee Jae-myeong, a leading presidential candidate, while Candidate Se-Hoon Oh formed a team with former Congressman Tae-seop Geum and National Assembly Representative Ahn Chul-soo.

Democratic Party Mayor Park Young-seon and Gyeonggi-do Governor Lee Jae-myeong met at the National Assembly.

Democratic Party lawmaker Insoo Geun-tae, the wife of the late Uri Party Chairman Kim Geun-tae, arranged the seat.

The two took coffee and walked through the parliament, creating a friendly atmosphere throughout.

The incumbent governor, even though he couldn’t campaign,

He greatly responded to Candidate Park’s pledge of universal subsidies, who embraced his policies.

This meeting can be interpreted as a willingness to firmly embrace the supporters from Park to pro-Lee Jae-myeong-gye, beyond his family name, amid stagnant approval ratings.

As a result, Candidate Se-hoon Oh Se-hoon, Mayor of the People’s Power of the People, started three expansions.

Former lawmaker Tae-seop Geum, who had left the Democratic Party and stepped up to unify the opposition, joined the joint elections committee chairman wearing a red jumper.

Through this, Candidate Oh is expected to go beyond conservatives and even aim for middle-class votes.
