After the establishment of the Biden administration, the ROK-US and the United States held defense negotiations for the first time, and after the summit call, the alliance issues have been coordinated in earnest.

Foreign Minister Eui-yong Eui-yong hopes the Biden administration will be more rational on alliance issues, while drawing a line for large-scale coalition exercises.

Foreign Minister Eui-yong Eui-yong said he will focus his diplomatic power on coordinating strategies with the Biden administration to resume dialogue early.

The Biden administration said it was expressing its position to listen to the opinion of the Korean government first, and evaluated it as a positive sign.

He has repeatedly stated that he will try to make the dialogue between the United States and the United States based on the Singapore agreement that stipulates improving relations with the United States, establishing a peace regime, and denuclearization.

The possibility of reducing the scale of the ROK-US joint drill, which will be conducted next month, has been suggested.

A proper level of training is necessary, but large-scale training has many implications for the situation on the Korean Peninsula.

The Trump administration predicted that the negotiations on the share of defense costs, which had suffered difficulties, could proceed more smoothly.

On the same day, for the first time since the inauguration of the Biden government, defense negotiations were held with burns.

The two sides agreed to conclude negotiations as soon as possible to strengthen the ROK-US alliance and the combined defense posture.

After the first call between the US and the ROK, the alliance issues between the two countries are being coordinated in earnest.
