Ahead of the Seoul Mayor’s by-election in April, opposition candidates are vying for real estate redevelopment and reconstruction pledges.

Conservative opposition candidates each came up with a solution to the real estate issue, the biggest issue in the Seoul mayoral election.

The key keyword is deregulation.

It is to relieve the housing shortage by revitalizing reconstruction and redevelopment.

All of you are advocating deregulation, but it is true that there is a question mark on the feasibility.

It is a plan to increase the supply of private housing by removing floor area ratio and floor height restrictions and simplifying licensing.

It is difficult to guarantee how effective it will be in a situation where government-level regulations such as the excess profit redemption system or the sale price ceiling system are stiff.
