First Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Choi Sun-hee, who is in charge of strategy against the United States in North Korea, released a blitz talk this morning.

It was aimed at the meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defense of the United States, but the US has officially confirmed an attempt to contact North Korea while there is no further dialogue unless the US withdraws its hostile policy against North Korea.

Just before the ‘2+2’ meeting of the two-top Korean-American diplomatic and security gatherings in one place, First Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Choi Sun-hee gave a talk.

After confirming that the United States had recently contacted us through several channels to meet, he again nailed it that there was no need to respond to the American ‘time-earning’ game.

In particular, even after the transition to the Biden government, they continued military threats such as mobilizing reconnaissance assets to spy on them.

First Minister Choi stressed that if the US policy of hostilities against North Korea is not withdrawn, no contact or dialogue with the United States will be possible, and that it will not give back the same opportunities as in Singapore or Hanoi.

However, as the dialogue with the United States has not been completely closed, this discourse appears to have a greater focus in calling for a change in attitudes in the United States.

In line with the Korea-US ‘2+2’ meeting, the two leaders Kim Yeo-jeong and Sun-hee Choi, who oversee the issues with South Korea and the United States, announced successive discourses, which is also contributing to this observation.
