Yes. The Blue House decided to make this New Year’s press conference a new format that connects online and offline at the same time.
This press conference will be held for 100 minutes from 10 am to 11:40 am in a moment.
The number of attendees on site was limited to 20 due to the social distancing policy.
Through the online video connection, 100 reporters participate, and the rest of the reporters who were unable to participate in the video and the scene are asked in real time through online chat rooms.
As in the previous case, President Moon will directly point out the questioner without prior questioning, and will be held in the form of a’press conference without script’.

Most of all, the interest of this press conference will be the president’s thoughts on amnesty to the former president.
As related questions are expected to come out at the New Year’s press conference, in fact, it is expected that President Moon will directly reveal his position on the amnesty in the form of an answer.
Another key issue is real estate.
Earlier, in the New Year’s address last week, President Moon apologized for the real estate problem.
It is also noteworthy that the company promises to put emphasis on housing supply and announces specific housing supply measures.
In addition, in line with the upcoming inauguration of the US Biden administration, it is expected that you will be able to hear firsthand the president’s plan for reactivating the Korean Peninsula peace process.
Other points of interest are President Moon’s thoughts on the conflict between the Ministry of Justice and the prosecutors’ office during the prosecution reform process and whether he is elected as Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol.
YTN plans to broadcast a live news conference for President Moon Jae-in’s New Year, which will be held from 10 o’clock in the future.
